You put in all the necessary hard work and still don’t feel happy or fulfilled about the outcome.
Not enough money. Not enough sleep. Not enough time to do the things you want to do.
You run from any solution offering simplicity, peace or freedom that seems too easy or woo-woo because you rather prove yourself to the world by jumping through 49 burning hoops blindfolded trusting the ringleader to crack a whip if you’re falling too short.
This is why using more color in your life with a searing intention matters not only to look and feel pretty on the outside but to uplift your moods when darkness creeps inside the cage of your own mind.
Take back your power
When I need to be reminded that I’m in control of how I perceive the world, I turn to one color and one color only in my card deck. It’s called Firefly and this high-voltage yellow supercharges my mood. It turns the volume up on my intuition and highlights parts of me that matter more than the plain, bare, monotonous vault I seem to find myself locked inside sometimes.
You can use this color to uplift your mood and make a powerful comeback by adding it to your life in a myriad of ways.
- Collecting a bunch of daffodils
- Eating a banana
- Switching your screensaver or phone background picture
- Try diffusing lemon/lemon balm/lemongrass essential oils
- Meditating with yellow calcite crystals
- Stirring in this delicious abundance tea after a hard week
- Highlighting your favorite days in your planner
- Wearing fun pineapple socks
- Listening to my Firefly playlist on YouTube
- Beam a smile at strangers on the street
Light illuminates our power. If you’ve been feeling hard times recently then please know that uplifting your mood requires change. A change in what you tell yourself every day about the world you currently are facing. This Firefly color energy illuminates your real power so you inspire others to shine and radiate their own light.
Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our Light, not our Darkness, that most frightens us. – Marianne Williamson
